Class information

If you thought spin class was all about pedalling furiously up a 'hill'  in a darkened room, think again! 

We offer indoor cycling classes with a view! Light, bright and airy spin classes with a view of the garden. 

On Friday's we dim the lights and work out to some seriously great tunes at our Spin Disco classes!

Weights can be used for strength, endurance, flexibility and balance training…the four main aspects of fitness.

The weights we use are versatile and we always advise which weight to use for each move. We switch between Kettlebells and dumbbells so your muscles never get used to doing the same moves making them ineffective. We change the program every few weeks to keep it interesting and fun!

Callanetics, a form of toning and strengthening exercise, began as a recovering spine-injured ballerina wanted to regain muscle strength without straining her lower back. As she noticed dramatic changes in body shape and tone, the Callanetics fitness class branched out to be popular amongst fitness enthusiasts for the routine increases strength, flexibility, and body alignment

Stretch classes, as the name suggests, are all about setting aside dedicated time to stretch your muscles. Exercisers tend to focus on the workout, and neglect the recovery. Here at The Fitness Garage we know the importance of a good stretch. 

We always start our cardio classes with Dynamic Stretching, to warm up the muscles and improve performance and finish the class with a static stretch routine
