Meet The Fitness Garage Team

Lesley Kinnaird

Lesley Kinnaird, Spin, Kettles & Stretch class instructor

Owner of The Fitness Garage.

I have exercised as long as I can remember and know how important it is for physical and mental well being. 

Having tried every fitness fad going over the years I fell in love with indoor cycling and in 2018 decided to train as an instructor. 

After teaching over 150 classes I felt inspired and ready to open my own studio. 

I am also trained in Kettle Bells, cardio and Stretch as I believe it's important to do a range of different styles and intensity of exercise. 

I have also been doing Callanetics for over 30 years and can honestly say it's the only form of exercise I have done that tones and sculpts the body like nothing else!I decided to train as a Callanetics teacher in 2024 and after 8 months of training I passed my  tests with flying colours and I am absolutely loving teaching Callanetics and have cured my sore back in the process! 

I want the Fitness Garage to be an inviting, friendly studio offering a range of classes to suit everyone. My aim is to offer classes that will shape and tone every inch of your body, improve your fitness and also stretch your muscles and relax your mind too. 

I can help work out a programme of classes that will suit your fitness level and fit in with your lifestyle. 

Cody Kinnaird

Since the age of 5 I have attended classes in Dance, Gymnastics, Circus Skills, Flying Trapeze and Trampolining. 

 I also love spin and as well as being a qualified Stretch Coach I also decided to teach a teen spin class using all my favourite club tunes. Join me on a Monday at 4.30pm for a 35 minute class filled with floor filling tunes and great moves. Guaranteed to get your heart racing and burn some serious calories!  All of these classes involve a warm up and cool down stretch and I am very aware of the importance of a good stretch! 

I believe it will help improve your performance, increase flexibility and aid muscle recovery. 

I set the mood for the class by  dimming the lights, adding disco lights and playing the hottest club music. This spin class is more like a choreographed dance routine on a bike that targets all your major muscle groups . We even use weights for our arms track. We have tracks that focus on your abs, glutes, quads and waist! So it really is a full body workout on a bike. It is definitely the most fun you can have on a bike! 

We guarantee you will leave the class feeling energised and buzzing and will be back next week for more.
